본명 Leslie Feist, 1976년생
10대 때부터 그런지/펑크 밴드활동을 했고,
20대에 락밴드, 일렉트로니카 뮤지션들과도 활동했으며
1999년에 셀프 데뷔 앨범 "Monarch"를 만듦.
후에도 broken social scene, Kings of Convenience, Jane birkin, Apostle of Hustle 등
여러 아티스트들의 앨범에 보컬로 참여하였다.
2002~2003년 파리에서 앨범작업을 했으며
2004년 자신의 두번째 앨범, "Let it Die"를 발표했고
2005년 캐나다 Juno Award에서
New Artist of the Year/Alternative Album Of The Year를 수상했다.
